Juana Vigil - Secretary

Hi, I’m Juana. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, especially cats. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to help care for and support cats in my own community, and I believe every cat deserves safety, compassion, and a chance to thrive. I’m honored to serve on the board of this rescue and support its mission of rescuing vulnerable cats, promoting TNR, and helping more cats find loving homes. I’m excited to be part of a team of dedicated people who are making a real difference, one cat at a time.

Ryann McCathern - Treasurer

Hi, I’m Ryann. My sister founded Helena’s Community Cats to honor our special mom. I know it’s going to make a terrific impact in our community and was happy to join the board to be part of the efforts in making it a big success.

Rebecca McCathern - Founder & Executive Director

My name is Rebecca, and I have a deep love for animals — especially cats — as well as nature and the environment. After moving to Albany and witnessing the growing population of feral cats in our area, I wanted to do something — for the kittens & cats, and for our community. I hope you will join me in helping the cats, either through giving your time as a volunteer or supporting our efforts through donations.
